This varies based on the course. The great advantage of an online learning space is the ability to navigate the lessons at your own pace. You determine how quickly you complete the course.
In many of the courses you cannot download the video / audio content, however there are some PDF's or free material that is available during certain lessons. To access your course, simply log in to your account.

You have 365 days from the day of enrollment to access the course content. Most courses can be completed within 4 weeks, which allows for the remaining access period to be used as a refresher to what you have learned.
